Monarch Butterfly Presentation at Georgetown University

This event will shed light on the Monarch migration, as well as population trends. I have word that it is open to the public, though it is listed as restricted on the GU website.

'The Grand Saga of the Monarch Butterfly' with guest speaker Lincoln Brower, PhD from Sweet Briar College.

Professor Brower’s current research regards the overwintering, migration, and conservation biology of Danaus plexippus (Monarch Butterfly), which undergoes extraordinary annual migrations. He has been a student and admirer of D. plexippus for more than 50 years, as attested in his publication list (http://www.biology.sbc.edu/faculty/HomePageLPB.html).
