Fall Garden

What's growing in our garden on November 21? We dedicated one bed to Fall greens and root vegetables. In the other bed, we planted rye grass as a cover crop. We'll turn it under early in the Spring, and it will serve as a "green manure," replacing the nitrogen lost to last year's heavy feeders (tomatoes and peppers). Here's a list of what we're growing:
kale
chard
carrots
beats
radishes
pak choy
Brussels sprouts
spinach
broccolini
cippolini onions
evergreen spring onions
parsley
thyme
rye grass
marigolds
